Do an all music routine if you are allowed to. Having to do a cheerleading cheer in the middle of your routine will drop the energy of the routine. If you still want to incorporate a cheer into the routine, cheer over a lower volume beat. Keep this type of cheer limited to two to three eight counts.
That is what we are doing. I coach a rec youth squad and we don't have great tumbling or stungts, but I thought a fast paced energetic routine would help us.
I am a cheerleader and when my squad gets out their and puts on a show the crowed loves it when we cheer. If you havn't notice cheerleading has the word cheer in it, and it plays a big part in what we do. We also use fast pace routines it keeps the crowed alert, and they are don't get board then. whats the point of cheerleading if you dont cheer i would never be in your team , if all u do if lifts and dance then whats the point.
